Little Saints

Little Saints is an informal Church service especially for under 5’s which is led by Liz, Zoe and vicar Alan Ward.

The group meet once a month on a Thursday and aim for a start time of 1.30pm. The service lasts for approximately half an hour and consists of a Bible story, songs with actions and something for the children to make based on the theme of the service.

Afterwards we go across to the Church centre for drinks and biscuits. There is an area set up for the children to play while the parent or carer of the child gets to chat with others.

In addition to the monthly services we hold 3 extra ones, these are an Easter special, Summer special which has been held at Happy Hens for the last three years and a Christmas special with a bring and share party afterwards.

The Little Saints are very important to the Church. During the fundraising for the Church roof they did a sponsored toddle and between them raised just over £400 which is an excellent achievement. Also, for the last few years the Little Saints have taken part in the Mother’s Day service at All Saints which is held on Mothering Sunday.
